Senior Supply Chain (SOP) Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Status: Full Time / Exempt

Role Overview:

Kinetica are partnered with a rapidly growing food contract manufacturer on a new Senior Supply Chain (SOP) Manager to lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and Open-to-Buy (OTB) governance. This role plays a key part in aligning demand, supply, and financial planning across the business while supporting material planning (MRP) and helping teams make informed buying and planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the S&OP process – Oversee monthly meetings and ensure alignment between Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Drive end-to-end planning – Align demand forecasts with master production schedules (MPS) and MRP to build executable, capacity-aligned plans.
• Oversee Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning – Build and maintain dynamic purchasing budgets based on sales forecasts, production needs, and inventory targets.
• Support MRP execution – Use logic-based tools and structured Excel models to optimize purchasing and inventory control.
• Enable better insights – Work with analytics to improve master data governance and consolidate data using Power BI and Excel Query.
• Deliver analysis – Provide detailed usage reports and procurement insights to support smarter buying decisions.
• Maintain dashboards – Build and update performance tracking tools in Power BI and Excel.
• Improve forecast accuracy – Implement scenario planning and other strategies to boost reliability.
• Be the cross-functional connector – Serve as the central liaison across Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or leading S&OP processes.
• Advanced analytics skills, with strong knowledge of Power BI and SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• A proven track record of driving planning alignment and managing inventory effectively.
