Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Risk & Reputation to join our Corporate Communications team in the United States.

The role leads a multi-year strategy to protect and enhance Samsung’s brand through crisis management, monitoring of media risks, and proactive engagement with stakeholders. You will advise executives, analyze the media landscape, coordinate press materials, and coach SEA speakers to ensure consistent messaging.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in risk management, corporate communications, journalism or a related field.
• Experience working directly with journalists, editors, and members of the media.
• Experience writing PR materials (e.g. press releases, pitch decks, story development).
• Experience managing PR agencies and technology vendors.
• Experience optimizing technology to continually improve the effectiveness of the media measurement tools.
• Experience collaborating and leading discussions on handling large scale issues with executives.
• Experience designing training for all levels - Executives, leaders and SEA employees.
• Experience with crisis management, understanding key risks, developing objectives and a strategy for addressing the risks and leading teams to a desired outcome.

• Lead multi-year strategy to evolve SEA’s reputational risk and crisis management program.
• Provide advisory support to our executives in response to national media stories, monitoring global brand risks, and delivering situational reports.
• Educate non-US executives on crisis management and crisis communications.
• Analyze the media landscape and provide strategic advisory support to our executives on engaging with the media.
• Drive our data-driven strategy with the domestic and international media.
• Drive and lead projects to support SEA Corporate Communications such as writing press releases and media moments.
• Facilitate executive coaching on media policies, questions and answers, and messaging consistency.
• Develop media insights reports to bolster PR community engagement with the media.
• Lead crisis management efforts by coordinating response plans and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Provide strategic guidance on reputation management initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior leadership.
