Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting & Advisory to lead a global revenue accounting function for a fast-moving SaaS and technology business. Based remotely, you will shape ASC 606 guidance, contract structures, and governance while partnering with cross-functional teams.

You will manage a 7-10 person global team, drive process improvements, and present complex accounting considerations to executives, supporting compliant growth and scalable revenue policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of combined Big 4 public accounting and industry experience focused on revenue recognition and technical accounting.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 within SaaS/tech business models.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global revenue accounting team of 7-10 professionals, promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary revenue recognition advisor during customer contract negotiations with various departments.
• Review and approve complex customer arrangements for compliance with ASC 606 and other accounting guidance.
• Establish scalable contract frameworks that support growth while ensuring revenue compliance.
• Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance to enhance quote-to-cash processes and strengthen revenue controls.
• Own and manage the global SSP methodology, including governance and executive presentations.

In this role, you will lead a global revenue accounting function that supports a fast-moving SaaS and technology business. You will serve as a trusted advisor on revenue recognition, help shape contract structure and governance, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to support compliant growth. The role combines technical accounting expertise with team leadership, process improvement, and executive-level communication.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $121,000 – $201,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary revenue recognition advisor during customer contract negotiations with various departments
• Review and approve complex customer arrangements for compliance with ASC 606 and other accounting guidance
