Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution; CFA and/or MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in finance in the renewable energy sector
• Experience in financial modeling for structured debt and equity investments
• Demonstrated ability to execute complex transactions through the full deal cycle
• Experience negotiating transaction structures with clients and counterparties
• Experience in distributed generation, storage, energy efficiency, or related sustainable infrastructure sectors preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead or support transaction execution and due diligence processes for investments in distributed generation, solar, storage, energy efficiency, and related portfolios
• Analyze underlying project agreements and diligence materials with precision to validate assumptions and identify risks
• Lead or support transaction structuring, including term sheets and documents
• Build, own, and manage financial models to analyze investment opportunities and risks
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across legal, risk, portfolio management and accounting to support execution
• Mentor and develop junior team members and review work product
• Support market development and client interactions to originate opportunities
