Job summary

HASI, headquartered in the US with offices in New York, seeks a Senior Manager to join the Investment Team in New York, NY or Annapolis, MD. You will lead and support the financing and execution of sustainability-focused investments across distributed generation, solar, storage and energy efficiency.

The role requires senior deal experience, owning financial models, coordinating with internal teams, and mentoring junior staff while helping to grow HASI’s market position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related finance field.
• 8+ years of finance experience in renewable energy.
• Experience in tax equity, project finance, or structured debt.
• Ability to execute complex transactions through full deal cycle.
• Strong modeling and valuation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support transaction execution and due diligence for distributed generation projects.
• Develop term sheets and review transaction documents.
• Build and manage financial models for portfolios and projects.
• Coordinate with legal, risk, and operations to support execution.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to deal process.
• Support market assessments and business development efforts.
