Job summary

SkyVest, a leading renewables asset manager, seeks a Senior Manager, Asset Management to own the portfolio-level P&L and set asset strategies across wind, solar and storage assets in the SkyVest portfolio.

You will report to the COO in Operations, lead commercial management of O&M and related services, and collaborate with lenders, investors, and partners to maximize asset value while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience owning the P&L for a portfolio of assets (wind/solar/BESS).
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and variance analysis expertise.
• Strong knowledge of PPAs, hedges, LGIAs, O&M agreements, and tax equity docs.
• Understanding of NERC/FERC compliance and ISO/RTO market structures.
• Experience with SCADA, plant monitoring, and asset performance tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and ability to translate data into strategy.
• Strong negotiation and vendor/stakeholder relationship skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and asset optimization strategy for assigned assets, setting annual objectives, KPIs, and multi-year business plans.
• Accountable for asset-level P&L, including annual operating and capital budgets, long-range forecasts, variance analysis, and reporting to executive leadership and investors.
• Oversee development of asset and portfolio operating models to support valuations, refinancings, and capital allocation decisions; monitor revenue certification, REC management, reconciliations, and audits.
• Lead the commercial management of O&M, BOP, and OEM service providers, enforce KPIs and availability guarantees, and coordinate with technical teams to minimize losses and downtime.
• Evaluate and approve major maintenance, repowering, and capital projects.
• Oversee significant warranty and insurance claims.
• Champion a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Lead negotiations of new/amended agreements and set contracting strategy for key services.
