Point B in Chicago invites a Senior Manager to guide complex, multi-workstream engagements for diverse clients. You will lead highly strategic programs, oversee budgets and milestones, and mentor teams while contributing to growth and client success.

You will work with client leaders, engagement teams, and partners to shape solutions, manage risk, and ensure high-quality delivery across the lifecycle of engagements.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• 12+ years of experience developing software solutions for enterprises and consulting experience.
• Proven experience architecting software solutions and leading technical teams in software development projects.
• Proven experience building practices/teams and active participation in firm growth.
• Strong ability to engage and manage relationships with business leaders and clients.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proven experience developing software products and/or solutions in Python and React/Next.js/Node.js.
• Experience with APIs, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience in both enterprise software development and professional consulting.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the strategic and tactical elements of the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional initiatives and drives decision-making throughout the process to move the work forward.
• Develops and manages complex program structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and other key project deliverables.
• Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and recommends key decisions for complex program.
• Delivers quality oversight of engagements and provides feedback to associates on their engagement.
• Builds strong partnerships through effective collaboration with client and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborates with Client Leads to drive extensions and new business opportunities by identifying opportunities and architecting solutions.
