Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Manager Quality to lead Operational Excellence for Patient Access Services across states. The role focuses on process improvement, Epic enhancements, training, data interpretation, and strategic planning within Revenue Cycle management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in large healthcare systems, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to standardize processes while driving measurable improvements.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare management, public health, or related degree.
8+ years Patient Access Services or Revenue Cycle experience.
10+ years in a large healthcare delivery system.
6+ years management experience.
Experience with Revenue Cycle components: registration, scheduling, front desk check-in, authorization, denials, insurance billing.
Experience evaluating issues from both creative and systemic angles.
Experience with legal and compliance requirements of Access Services and Revenue Cycle including Joint Commission, EMTALA, HIPAA, CMS.
Experience with Revenue Cycle IT systems including registration/scheduling, eligibility solutions, training delivery, payment processing, scanning, and third-party vendors.
Experience developing training materials for different learning styles.
Experience standardizing complex and disparate practices and maintaining common processes.
Experience with process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvements in complex systems.
Experience optimizing workflow related to complex computer systems.
