Job summary

Arrow Search Partners is seeking an experienced transaction advisory professional in Chicago to lead Quality of Earnings engagements for private equity and M&A clients. You will build comprehensive databooks, analyze EBITDA and working capital, and participate in diligence discussions with senior management and lenders.

The role requires 5–7 years in diligence, advanced Excel, and strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in transaction advisory or financial due diligence.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and ledgers.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with EBITDA normalization and working capital analysis.
• Experience preparing Quality of Earnings analyses and financial databooks.

Responsibilities

• Execute buy-side and sell-side QoE engagements for PE and M&A.
• Build QoE databooks with historical financials and schedules.
• Analyze EBITDA and identify nonrecurring items.
• Evaluate working capital, cash flows, and balance sheet risks.
• Assess costing, inventory valuation, and gross margin performance.
• Reconcile information across trial balances and ledgers.
• Investigate discrepancies and quantify EBITDA adjustments.
• Participate in diligence calls and presentations.
