Metso seeks a Senior Manager, Pumps Project Sales Support for North & Central America and South America to secure strategic project opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. The role reports to the VP, Pumps Business & Product Management and offers flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

The position requires a mechanical/mining engineering degree, 7+ years in project sales in mining or process industries, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mining engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in project sales in mining, process industries or industrial equipment – pumps preferred.
• Track record of winning and managing complex capital projects and large-value opportunities.
• Strong grasp of tendering, EPC/EPCM environments and contract negotiations.
• Experience across multiple countries and cultures in the Americas, leading dispersed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management at senior executive levels and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• An analytical, proactive problem solver who can juggle several projects – and is willing to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Pumps project sales end to end, from early engagement to after sales, across MA NCA & SAM
• Build sales pipelines, pricing and sales strategies together with Market Area teams
• Position solutions early in customer projects and create competitive advantage
• Participate in commercial negotiations and support contract discussions for major projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to build winning technical and commercial proposals
• Track market trends, competitor activity and customer investment plans to find growth
• Support forecasting, opportunity management and business planning, including MA reviews and budgeting
