Job summary

Etsy seeks a Senior Manager, Product Research to lead a team of qualitative and quantitative researchers shaping buyer and seller experiences across our marketplace. You will mentor researchers, set strategy, and partner with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Design to translate insights into product direction at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in applied product research.
• 3+ years of management experience leading a research team.
• Strong quantitative research skills (surveys, data analysis).
• Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers.
• Balance rigor with speed-to-learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3+ product researchers and mentor on research methods.
• Define and manage a research portfolio aligned to strategy.
• Develop collaborative relationships with Product, Analytics, Engineering and Design.
• Apply innovative research techniques, including responsible AI integration.
• Run research projects and model strong research practices for the team.
• Recruit and hire outstanding researchers and onboard them effectively.
• Contribute to the Research team's strategy and focus areas.
