Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Food Product Development to shape Walmart’s Private Brand food portfolio in Bentonville, AR. The role blends food science, culinary insight, and customer data to create differentiated, affordable retail products customers love.

You will lead formulation, sensory evaluation, and regulatory compliance from concept to launch, managing cross-functional teams and leveraging data and AI to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area (or 6 years’ experience).

Responsibilities

• Build customer-led product strategies, innovation pipelines, and actionable briefs.
• Lead formulation, sensory evaluation, specifications, supplier development, testing, and commercialization.
• Ensure food safety, regulatory labeling, quality, and shelf-life from concept to launch.
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, and suppliers to deliver differentiated products.
• Leverage customer insights, sales performance, quality data, analytics, and AI to improve products.
