Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing, Promotions, and Competitive Intelligence (PPCI) to shape pricing, promotions, memberships, and clearance offerings across the business.

You will partner with category leaders, turn data into smart pricing decisions, lead a team of pricing professionals, and build new pricing capabilities that drive growth and profitability while delivering great customer experiences. This hybrid role is based in Richfield, MN.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quantitative analysis, pricing or promotion analytics in retail/consulting.
• 5+ years of financial analysis and problem-solving experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• 5+ years delivering complex cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Lead pricing strategies across multiple merchandise categories

As the Senior Manager, Pricing, Promotions, and Competitive Intelligence (PPCI), you'll help shape how we price products, promotions, memberships, and clearance offerings across the business. You'll partner with category leaders to turn data into smart pricing decisions that drive growth, improve profitability, and create great customer experiences. You'll also lead a talented team, influence key business decisions, and help build new pricing capabilities that make a real impact.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What You’ll Do

• Lead pricing strategies across multiple merchandise categories
• Use data and insights to recommend pricing and promotional actions

Basic qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, pricing or promotion analytics, or business analysis within a retail, consulting, or consumer-oriented industry
• 5+ years of financial analysis and problem-solving experience
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports and people management responsibilities
• 5 + years of experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to influence stakeholders through data and storytelling
• Experience developing reporting, tools, or operational processes
• Expert or advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
