Job summary

CarMax in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Manager of Pricing Analytics to lead a team of data scientists and analysts on the Supply Chain Strategy group. You will drive pricing and buying decisions to optimize sales growth across our 200+ stores and online initiatives.

Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, set goals, and implement management systems. Lead models that translate data into measurable business value and present insights to executives to gain alignment.

Qualifications

• MBA or Masters in analytics is a plus.
• Strong analytic background with experience in big data.
• Experience managing a data analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Create and actively promote an environment of associate development across the Pricing team, while also driving team engagement
• Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, set goals, and implement management systems.
• Lead data scientists on the team in leveraging models to drive tangible business value
• Influence strategy by providing analytical evaluation and thoughtful insights.
• Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to achieve consensus for change
