CarMax is seeking an Algorithms expert on the Pricing team to build and support predictive models that inform buying, pricing, and allocation across 200+ stores. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deploy models that drive business value.

The role emphasizes feature engineering, model validation, and presenting insights to senior leaders to influence pricing strategy. Location is CarMax Home Office (Richmond, VA) with on-site work four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience applying math or modeling to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve pricing models using ML/statistical techniques.
• Validate, deploy, and monitor models with cross-functional teams.
