Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Manager in Supply Chain Strategy to join the Midtown Richmond team. You will partner with product, technology, and operations to shape strategic directions across Consumer, B2B, Merchandising, Logistics, and Service Operations areas.

You will own KPI reporting, analytics, and influence decisions that optimize vehicle acquisition, reconditioning, and movement within our network. The role requires 4+ years in analytics/strategy, a four-year degree, and proficiency in data tools

• Track record of excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Experience doing large-scale data analysis to support conclusions.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and business partners to define strategic direction for supply chain areas.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and opportunities.
• Present recommendations to executives to secure buy-in.
• Drive KPI targeting and management reporting to enable accountability.
• Support change initiatives with analytical rigor and clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with field operations to implement strategic initiatives.
