We are currently looking to hire a motivated Sr. Pricing Manager to join our team!
Job Description:
The Sr. Pricing Manager role is under the supervision of the Managing Director of Pricing. This role is highly analytical and is a key technical contributor to our Pricing team. The pricing analyst role involves studying data from multiple sources to develop complex pricing models that reflect target margins for pricing based on operational, competitor, market, and customer data.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS:
- Work with complex data sets to help organizations determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Collaborate with various departments such as sales and marketing, operations, and finance to develop strategies that drive sales and ensure high-quality, competitive pricing proposals and bids.
- Use statistical modeling methods to prepare reports that show potential impacts of various pricing strategies, including their effect on margins, costs, profitability, and revenue.
- Present pricing methods and findings to key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable strategies to drive sales and enhance marketing efforts.
- Develop forecasts and models to assist decision-makers with setting and modifying prices, including margin forecasts aligning with company pricing strategies.
- Create price points for existing and new services to improve profit margins and sales.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, capturing all cost elements aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field.
- Prior experience in financial modeling, resource and labor planning, business analysis, business process consulting, management consulting, or project management.
- Advanced computer skills (EXCEL, ACCESS, POWERPOINT, statistical packages); experience with pricing and financial modeling software is highly preferred.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is preferred.
- Highly analytical and quantitative with strong attention to detail, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, able to handle multiple assignments under deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize information from various sources and communicate complex information effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality; minimal overnight travel required.
- Capacity to determine technical objectives, diagnose strengths and weaknesses, and develop improvement recommendations.
