Job Description

The Senior Manager, Pricing role reports to the Managing Director of Pricing. This highly analytical role involves developing complex pricing models based on operational, competitor, market, and customer data to reflect target margins and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze complex data sets to determine and set competitive prices to increase market share and meet revenue and profit goals.
2. Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to develop strategies that drive sales and submit competitive proposals and bids.
3. Utilize statistical modeling to prepare reports on the impact of various pricing strategies on margins and profitability.
4. Present pricing strategies and findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
5. Create forecasts and models to assist decision-makers in setting and adjusting prices, including margin forecasts.
6. Develop pricing for existing and new services to enhance profit margins and sales.
7. Ensure pricing accuracy by capturing all relevant cost elements aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field such as Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Experience in financial modeling, business analysis, resource and labor planning, or consulting is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and statistical software; experience with pricing and financial modeling software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise technical judgment in developing recommendations.
