Job summary

Disney is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Community to lead strategy and engagement for our games and experiences. You will shape how players connect with our worlds across Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, while partnering with marketing, product, and development teams to inform strategy and drive authentic engagement.

You will advocate for players, translate sentiment into insights, and build programs that foster positive, inclusive engagement across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in community management, social media, or digital marketing for live-service games.
• Deep understanding of gaming communities, fandoms, and creator ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and related platforms.
• Proven ability to develop and execute community strategies that drive engagement and sentiment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to craft authentic player-facing updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead community strategies across priority projects, with clear goals and metrics.
• Manage player-facing channels, livestreams, events, and creator activations, ensuring on-brand communications.
• Nurture relationships with content creators, streamers, and moderators to grow the ecosystem.
• Translate community insights into actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR, product, development, and support to align messaging and improve player experience.
• Help establish community standards, moderation workflows, and crisis response protocols.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with agencies, moderators, and external partners.
