Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Sr Manager for the Marketplace Partner Payments team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will shape and execute payment strategies, lead a high-performing team, and drive initiatives to reduce losses, fraud, and enhance the seller payments experience at scale.

You will collaborate with Risk, Data Science, and Operations to secure the payment ecosystem, automate workflows, and deliver measurable improvements in payments performance and seller satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Payments, eCommerce, Risk, or Financial Services.
• Proven success leading cross-functional analytics teams.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on data work.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce marketplace platforms and seller payments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement payment frameworks to reduce losses and chargebacks.
• Define payment strategies and measures to identify and mitigate losses, including fraud.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech to align roadmaps and execution.
• Use data analytics to drive recommendations and optimize payment performance.
• Improve operational efficiency and scalability of seller payments processes.
