Job summary

Danone North America, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, COE Quality in Design (Packaging) to lead packaging quality by design across development and commercialization. You will partner with QFS, Packaging R&I, Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Supply to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while enabling first-time-right launches.

The role emphasizes risk management, standards development, and innovative packaging solutions within a hybrid work model and global Danone

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in packaging/related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in packaging quality, development, or related fields.
• Experience supporting innovation and new product development projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with packaging supplier management and qualification.
• Experience in food, beverage, dairy, infant nutrition, or CPG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Packaging Quality in Design leadership for innovation, renovation, productivity, and sustainability projects.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet food safety, quality, regulatory, operational, and consumer requirements.
• Drive early identification and mitigation of packaging-related quality and food safety risks during development.
• Provide technical leadership during stage-gate reviews and commercialization activities.
• Develop and maintain packaging quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Procurement for supplier qualification and improvements.
