Job summary

Danone USA is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality in Design (Packaging) to lead packaging quality by design across innovation and commercialization efforts. The role partners with QFS, Packaging R&I, Product Development, Manufacturing and Regulatory teams to ensure food safety, regulatory compliance and sustainability in packaging development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in packaging quality, development, or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with packaging supplier management and qualification.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF and FSSC 22000 systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as QFS lead for packaging innovation, renovation, and sustainability projects.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet food safety, quality, regulatory and consumer requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and validation plans for packaging changes.
• Support New product development, packaging innovation, and commercialization activities.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Regulatory teams on packaging standards and audits.
