Job summary

Danone North America, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, COE Quality in Design (Packaging) to lead packaging quality by design, risk management, and governance across development and commercialization. You will partner with R&I, Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regulatory, and Sustainability to drive safe, compliant, and innovative packaging launches.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
10+ years in packaging quality, development, or related fields.
Experience supporting innovation and new product development.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience with packaging supplier management and qualification.

Responsibilities

Lead packaging innovation, renovation, productivity, and sustainability projects.
Ensure packaging meets food safety, quality, regulatory, and consumer requirements.
Identify and mitigate packaging-related quality and food safety risks early.
Provide technical leadership during stage-gate reviews and launches.
Develop packaging quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with suppliers for qualification and performance improvement.
Partner with Regulatory Affairs on packaging claims and compliance.
Drive sustainability initiatives without compromising quality.
