Aberdeen Advisors is selectively expanding its Oracle transformation capability to support complex enterprise reimplementations, integrations, and business-process modernization programs.
About the Role
Senior Manager, Oracle Transformation
- Employment type: Full-time, Contact, or Contract-to-Hire
- Workplace: Remote, United States (supporting EST/CST hours)
- Travel: Periodic client travel as required
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Oracle Transformation who can shape opportunities, lead senior-client conversations, facilitate consequential business-process workshops, and provide accountable delivery leadership. This is not a narrowly configured Oracle role. The successful candidate will combine strong Oracle Cloud/Fusion experience with business-process expertise, executive presence, consulting judgment, and the desire to help build a growing capability. The role is well suited to someone with experience in a Big Four, global systems integrator, Oracle Consulting, or a comparable enterprise-transformation environment who wants greater ownership and direct influence.
Responsibilities
- Shape Oracle transformation opportunities from discovery through implementation.
- Lead executive and cross-functional workshops focused on business processes, operating-model decisions, standardization, and transformation priorities.
- Translate business objectives into implementation scope, workstreams, delivery plans, governance, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead major Oracle programs or multiple interconnected workstreams.
- Advise clients on process design, organizational readiness, data, integrations, testing, cutover, adoption, and stabilization.
- Identify delivery risks early and guide stakeholders toward practical decisions.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, functional leaders, technology leaders, and program teams.
- Support solution development, estimates, proposals, presentations, and pursuit activities.
- Help determine the right mix of Aberdeen employees, client resources, partners, and specialists for each engagement.
- Recruit, assess, coach, and mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and other delivery professionals.
- Develop reusable workshop methods, delivery assets, governance practices, and transformation playbooks.
- Contribute to the growth and direction of Aberdeen’s Oracle capability.
Required Skills
- 10 or more years of consulting, enterprise transformation, or related delivery experience.
- 7 or more years of substantive Oracle implementation experience.
- Leadership experience on multiple Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementations, reimplementations, or complex transformation programs.
- Demonstrated responsibility for a major program, workstream, or business outcome—not only PMO reporting or coordination.
- Experience designing and facilitating senior-level business-process or solution-design workshops
- Strong business-process knowledge in one or more Oracle domains, such as:
- Financials and Record-to-Report
- Procurement and Procure-to-Pay
- Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- Order Management and Order-to-Cash
- Enterprise Performance Management
- Human Capital Management
- Integration, data, reporting, or enterprise architecture
- Ability to connect application decisions to business operations, controls, customer outcomes, and organizational change.
- Experience leading client stakeholders through difficult decisions, competing priorities, and implementation risks.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading and developing consulting teams.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as engagement needs require.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with Deloitte, Accenture, another Big Four firm, a major systems integrator, or Oracle Consulting.
- Experience moving clients from Oracle E-Business Suite or another legacy environment to Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, mergers, operating-model consolidation, or multi-business-unit transformation.
- Experience working with large, complex, or highly distributed enterprises.
What success looks like
Within the first several months, you will be able to:
- Enter senior-client conversations credibly and add immediate value.
- Structure discovery and process-design workshops.
- Clarify scope, risks, decisions, and delivery requirements.
- Shape a practical Oracle transformation roadmap.
- Identify the talent required beneath you.
- Help Aberdeen convert emerging demand into a repeatable delivery capability.
