Job summary

Qualifications
- Ph.D., MS, or BS in engineering or sciences with optical physics focus.
- Experience with complex optical systems and spectroscopy/ellipsometry.
- Experience with precision optical components and optomechanical systems.
- Hands-on lab experience with prototype systems and semiconductor metrology.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Responsibilities
- Align, optimize, and validate complex optical systems.
- Develop best operational methods for tool performance optimization.
- Design and conduct experiments to characterize, troubleshoot, and improve optical metrology systems.
- Develop plans of action, and execute in a timely manner.
- Generate internal and external technical presentations.
- Clearly communicate requirements and specifications to cross functional teams.
- Support for on site installation of first in fab metrology tools, initial tool matching efforts, and generation of procedures and training documents.
