Job summary

GEODIS in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Operational Excellence to lead high-priority improvement projects across Transportation Management and Final Mile. You will deploy standard work, track benefits, and coach site leaders to sustain gains.

This field-heavy role requires kaizen facilitation, 40% travel, and collaboration with Finance and leadership teams. The candidate will own a robust pipeline, ensure P&L validated savings, and support pricing with standardized models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of transportation/logistics operations or continuous improvement experience.
• 3+ years leading improvement projects in 3PL, carrier, or large shipper environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt strongly preferred, with Finance-validated savings.
• Solid cost-to-serve and business-case skills; able to present to senior leadership.
• Strong analytics with advanced Excel; Power BI preferred; SQL a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 40% to transformation sites.
• Experience in final mile / big-and-bulky home delivery operations and carrier models.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority improvement projects end-to-end with chartering, baselines, and benefit capture.
• Conduct on-site diagnostics and 90-day corrective action plans with owners.
• Facilitate kaizen events and problem-solving with cross-dock and TM teams.
• Develop and manage divisional improvement pipeline and EBIT-linked benefits.
