REI is seeking a Senior Manager, Omnichannel Initiatives to partner across the co-op on business cases and programs that grow and optimize the company’s retail and digital channels. The role drives strategies from concept to execution across Commercial and other teams, delivering high-impact initiatives that enhance the customer experience and the bottom line.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in retail, consumer goods, product management, consulting, or related field
  • Experience leading large cross-divisional initiatives, often multi-year
  • 3+ years of people leadership or team management
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams and levels
  • Skill in using channel data, customer insights, and external resources to drive strategic initiatives and funding
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Build business cases and lead programs that drive growth, optimization, and customer experience improvements
  • Partner across the organization to implement and scale programs delivering positive customer and commercial outcomes
  • Leverage customer, commercial, financial, and external insights to drive actions across teams
  • Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously at different lifecycle stages
  • Collaborate with Stores, Digital, Supply Chain, Product Management and other teams to develop opportunities and initiatives
  • Provide leaders with clear updates on initiatives and performance; surface risks and opportunities
  • Help build a team where people feel welcomed and can do their best work

Overview

The Omnichannel Experience team develops strategies, insights, and programs to create a more connected, customer-centered experience across REI’s digital and physical channels. As Senior Manager, Omnichannel Initiatives, you will partner across the co-op to develop business cases and commercialize high-impact programs that grow and optimize REI’s business. This role works across the Commercial organization and other teams at the co-op and pairs strategic thinking, business casing, and program management to turn opportunities into action. This role is responsible for developing strategies and seeing those strategies through to execution across teams.

  • Lead several initiatives simultaneously at various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Stores, Digital, Supply Chain, Product Management & other teams across REI to develop new opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to drive the business forward.
  • Provide leaders with clear updates on initiatives & business performance. Surface risk & opportunity as needed.
  • Help build a team where people feel welcomed and can do their best work.
Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of work in retail, consumer goods, product management, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience leading large cross-divisional initiatives often on multi-year horizon
  • 3 or more years of people leadership or team management.
  • Skill in building trust and working with people across teams and levels.
  • Skilled at leveraging channel (store & digital) data, customer insights, and external resources to develop strategic initiatives that secure funding, generate momentum, and ultimately become successful programs for REI.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field, or an equal mix of school and work experience.

Pay Range

$125,300.00 - $212,900.00 per year
