Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting in St. Petersburg, FL (hybrid) to lead monthly close, ensure GAAP/SOX compliance, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

The role partners with senior finance leaders and drives process improvements through automation, overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. CPA required; Big Four a plus, 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Qualifications

• CPA certification active and current.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public company experience required; Big Four preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Manage audit support and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Lead the accounting team while improving workflows, accountability, and efficiency.
