Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) in Superior Township, MI, is seeking an OBD Certification Sr. Manager to lead the US OBD certification program, including documentation, agency Q&A, and DDV testing.

You will build and steer the Certification Team of engineers and specialists, delivering OBD activities for BEV and hybrid platforms. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in OBD, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
• 10+ years OBD experience in certification and testing.
• 3+ years of project leadership/management experience leading engineers and technicians.
• Proven track record delivering engineering projects related to OBD certification and testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US OBD certification, documentation, agency Q&A, meetings, and OBD DDV testing.
• Lead and grow OBD Certification Team of engineers and specialists.
• Experience delivering OBD certification for BEV and/or hybrid platforms.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional stakeholders; monitor team budgets.
• Create and present technical reports; maintain confidentiality and integrity.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
