Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in automotive or emissions fields.
• 5+ years in emissions and/or OBD development or compliance.
• Preferred: 2+ years in managerial or project management.
• Strong knowledge of emissions certification and regulatory processes.
• Experience with 40 CFR 1066 and 40 CFR 85/86.
• Understanding of OBD regulations 13 CCR.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the Emissions and OBD Compliance team at the Chino facility.
• Oversee mandatory compliance reporting processes and approve submissions.
• Lead and support internal emissions and OBD investigations.
• Manage test budgets and vehicle administration.
• Review remedial action documents addressing in-use compliance issues.
• Coordinate with product development to resolve compliance issues.
• Interface with regulatory agency representatives and provide updates to leadership.
• Hold alignment meetings with stakeholders to address compliance timely.
