Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of NPI Supply Chain Program Managers within the NPC organization. You will own product sourcing strategies, drive supplier portfolio decisions, and ensure cost performance while integrating CoE technology innovations into NPI programs.

You will remain hands‑on in program management, overseeing a portfolio of high‑impact initiatives and delivering end‑to‑end results across multiple programs in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

Builds and develops a high‑performing NPI SCM team across commodities.
Owns commodity strategy, supplier landscape, and multi‑year roadmaps.
Leads executive level supplier selection, RFx, and CM choice.
Governs cost reduction, should‑costing, and Best BoM scenarios.
Manages RAID logs, risk, and escalation at program/portfolio level.
Drives governance, cross‑functional alignment, and KPI outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of four NPI key deliverables: sourcing strategy, cost performance, corporate synergies, and implementation.
Hands‑on leadership of selected high‑impact NPI sourcing programs.
Oversee scope, schedule, dependencies, milestones, and risk posture of the portfolio.
Ensure supply readiness, risk mitigation, and ramp governance for NPI to HVM.
Build executive narratives and drive structured status updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate across engineering, sourcing, operations, finance, quality, and legal.
