Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Manager of MHE Technical Training to lead a team of trainers and build a scalable program for material handling systems. You will design curricula, deliver multi‑modal instruction, and align training with operations goals to improve service quality and technician capability.

You will collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations while maintaining training infrastructure and staying current with equipment updates. Travel will be significant to support field needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, education, or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of progressive technical training experience with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Deep knowledge of material handling systems and ability to read schematics.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with instructional design and curriculum development.
• Ability to obtain MHE operator trainer certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical trainers, providing coaching and performance management.
• Design and implement the overall technical training strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with operations to identify training needs from performance data and expansion plans.
• Oversee curriculum development using instructional design principles and multiple modalities.
• Identify opportunities for curriculum enhancement based on evaluation data.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of material handling equipment and updates.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations on talent development and compliance.
• Develop and maintain training infrastructure including LMS administration and libraries.
• Provide strategic technical support for escalations as SME for field technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support training objectives.
