Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain and repair material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors. You will schedule PMs, perform repairs, and report on equipment status to site leaders while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2–4 years of mechanical experience, knowledge of electrical schematics, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong focus on OSHA rules and 5S workplace practices is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate required.
2-4 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment or similar.
ASE/Silver/Gold or electrical certifications preferred.
Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
Ability to interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

Schedule and perform PMs on all fleet services equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.
Conduct corrective repairs and preventive maintenance per OEM standards.
Communicate equipment status and project timelines to site managers and operations leaders.
Maintain accurate service and inventory records and coordinate parts.
Perform routine inspections and ensure OSHA compliance and 5S cleanliness.
