Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive candidate with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to join our Merchandising Excellence Team as a Senior Manager. This role is responsible for developing and executing market activation materials across all brands, geographies, and channels in the USA and Canada. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate brand strategies into effective merchandising solutions—such as stealable merch and retailtainment—that drive activation and support the North American Operating Unit's growth objectives. They will leverage insights, influence decision-making with data, and work with cross-functional partners and bottling partners to enhance in-store engagement, scale, affordability, and basket incidence.

Position Overview:

This role oversees the development and execution of market activation materials across all brands, geographies, and channels in the USA and Canada.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to develop strategic merchandising solutions that deliver top-tier execution, build brand equity, and enhance the commercial success (e.g., printed point of sale elements, displays, permanent racks, premiums).
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure scalability and affordability, understanding the system’s needs by channel.
  • Provide expertise to guide the creation of concepts from ideation through production and market activation.
  • Foster collaboration, drive complex decision-making, navigate differing viewpoints, and maintain resilience to achieve results.
  • Utilize system scale to deliver savings, innovation, consistency, quality, and excellence in commercial execution.
  • Challenge the system to maximize value and savings, align early with CAMs to influence subsidy allocation, and advocate for system improvements.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses of program elements against system objectives, steward program results, and perform post-program evaluations.
  • Manage program timelines and budgets effectively, and utilize the Coke Catalog tool for program administration.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Related Work Experience:

  • Preferably 5 years of experience leading marketing activations across geographies in a complex, global environment, or similar experience in brand strategy and application across channels and key consumption occasions for various shopper personas.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong influencing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with high levels of organization.
  • Proficient in data analysis for post-program review and upstream decision-making.
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing environments.
  • Excellent project and program management abilities.
