Job Summary

Lead and develop a high-performing inventory and materials planning team. Create and execute production and procurement strategies to align supply plans with inventory goals and customer service targets. Focus on continuous improvement, team training, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a team, focus on continuous improvement, and develop talent.
• Ensure safe work practices to maintain a safe environment.
• Develop feasible master production plans based on data analysis and capacity requirements.
• Schedule capacity utilization across multiple production lines in a 24/7 environment.
• Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to execute production plans.
• Monitor demand and plant performance; adjust plans to optimize inventory.
• Use advanced planning systems (PPDS) for working capital management and customer service.
• Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with supply analysis.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers and subcontractors, overseeing $250M in material purchases.
• Collaborate with various departments to balance efficiency, supply, and demand.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory, including disposition processes.
• Implement inventory management plans to meet service and cost objectives, overseeing cycle counts at international and domestic partners.
• Participate in meetings, provide metrics, resolve issues, and propose improvements.
• Recommend strategies to improve supply planning and manage risks.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify process improvements.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Support SAP IBP and S4/Hana implementation projects.
• Foster a culture of engagement, challenge, and partnership.
• Handle ad-hoc requests as needed.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
• At least seven years of relevant experience in production, inventory, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
• ERP experience, with SAP preferred.
• APICS certification is a plus.
