Job Description Summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking an experienced, highly organized marketing professional to serve as the central operational lead for the department’s advertising and brand initiatives. This individual will manage the full lifecycle of marketing efforts across service lines and organizational priorities, from planning, scheduling, and campaign deployment through performance analysis, optimization, and reporting. The role maintains the department’s master marketing calendar and coordinates campaigns across digital, print, television, radio, outdoor, social media, and other channels.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing media schedules, trafficking timelines, production deadlines, quality assurance, launch readiness, and relationships with agencies, media partners, photographers, and other vendors. The position also coordinates physician marketing activities, photography initiatives, digital business listings, and brand compliance to ensure marketing efforts are accurate, consistent, and aligned across the organization.

Position Responsibilities Maintains the department’s master marketing calendar and oversees the execution of advertising and marketing campaigns across service lines, physician groups, and organizational initiatives. Coordinates campaign deployment across digital, print, television, radio, outdoor, social media, and other channels, managing media schedules, trafficking timelines, production deadlines, vendor deliverables, quality assurance, and launch readiness. Serves as the primary liaison with advertising agencies, media partners, production vendors, photographers, printers, and other external partners to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with organizational brand standards. Monitors campaign performance, advertising effectiveness, website activity, patient engagement, and reputation management metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations regarding creative, messaging, audience targeting, media allocation, and future campaign strategy. Prepares concise monthly and quarterly reports for marketing leadership highlighting active campaigns, key performance indicators, outcomes, insights, opportunities, and recommended next steps. Represents the marketing department during physician onboarding and coordinate related marketing activities, including biography development, photography, website profile creation and updates, business listings, and other digital directory needs. Leads the organization’s physician and service line photography program by developing coverage plans and coordinating physicians, office managers, clinical leaders, models or talent, photographers, schedules, releases, shot lists, approvals, and asset organization. Conducts routine audits of hospital campuses, physician offices, and satellite locations to ensure signage, displays, collateral, and other patient-facing materials remain current, professionally presented, and compliant with organizational brand standards. Coordinates the removal or replacement of outdated, damaged, unauthorized, or inaccurate materials as needed. Maintains visibility into active projects and campaign timelines, proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement processes, tracking tools, and reporting practices that improve efficiency, accountability, and execution across the department. Works independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, proactively identify opportunities and potential issues, and build strong working relationships with physicians, operational leaders, clinical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive initiatives through completion.
