Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator to join our team in South Florida. The role supports new hires, manages pre-employment paperwork, and coordinates background checks and license verification to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
You will serve as a liaison for recruiters and MSMC departments, maintain confidential files, and help with contractor and physician onboarding. A commitment to accuracy, customer service, and teamwork is essential.

Position Responsibilities Meets with New Hires and completes pre-employment paperwork utilizing the checklist as a guide Completes Background Check process by verifying and completing reference checks, criminal background checks, professional license verification and OIG Act as a focal point in the coordination of information for the open position reporting process Complies, edits and disseminates Orientation list to department and other key users Demonstrates proficiency in typing documents utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc Reviews all documents for accuracy Maintains files in an organized manner Maintains the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Provides customer service support to recruiters, applicants and MSMC departments as required. Assists with and follows up on Employee health to determine if the status is clear or pending when needed. Awaits fax messages from Employee health and distributes faxes to assigned recruiters. Provides coverage for the front desk as needed. Manages the Level 2 background screening and AHCA website On-boards and manages all contractors and Physician files Assists Recruitment Manger with projects as needed Picks up badges on Friday from Security before orientation. Welcomes and registers all new hires on day one of orientation.
