Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Manufacturing Systems Engineering 2 to join our Advanced Manufacturing Technology organization in Palmdale, CA. This leadership role manages a team of Manufacturing Systems Engineers focused on developing and deploying advanced manufacturing and digital worker technologies to improve production efficiency and quality.

The selected candidate will oversee solution development, technology transitions, and alignment with program requirements

Qualifications

Must have a DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 9+ years of combined technical and leadership experience IN ENGINEERING/AVIONICS/MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION
Master’s degree in STEM with 7 years of combined technical and leadership experience in engineering/aviation/manufacturing/production

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Manufacturing Systems Engineers in development, implementation, and transition of manufacturing systems for production applications.
Oversee digital worker technologies, AR/VR, connected worker tools, IIoT, RFID, and data-driven manufacturing capabilities.
Ensure alignment with program requirements, manage scope, cost, schedule, and execution, and drive continuous improvement.
