Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement is seeking a Manager in Operations & Manufacturing to help mid-market and large-cap portfolio companies improve operating results.

You will work with PE partners and C-suite executives on cost improvements, lean initiatives, and transformation plans across manufacturing and distribution, with a focus on sustainable value creation. A discretionary bonus program is offered; healthcare and benefits included.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of professional industry experience, including at least 4 years in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Deep functional expertise in supply chain and manufacturing operations, incl. Lean, Six Sigma, and OpEx initiatives.
• Experience working with C-suite executives and private equity deal and operating partners.
• MBA a plus.

Aufgaben

• Gain comprehensive understanding of target’s manufacturing and distribution operations—organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability
• Evaluate maintainability and operability of production facilities
• Review current and historical data to understand efficiency, capacity, and equipment conditions
• Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers and reviewing data
• Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities
• Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies
• Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day‑to‑day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
