Senior Manager - Manufacturing Operations

R2Net is a diamond bridal jewelry company with a focus on technology. We provide e-commerce and supply chain platforms connecting manufacturers, retailers, and consumers within the diamond industry.

The Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations at R2Net oversees inventory management to ensure efficient order fulfillment. The role requires strong leadership, expertise in inventory purchasing, receiving, control, and collaboration with finance and accounting teams. Experience in manufacturing and the jewelry industry is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Manage manufacturing inventory and a team of 7-10 staff, including seasonal workers, providing coaching to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee purchasing, receiving, vendor management, metal and stone inventory, consumption, scrap, and inventory reporting including cycle counts and levels.
  • Lead department operations to ensure timely completion of daily tasks.
  • Manage existing vendors, source new ones, and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Monitor costs and fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, annual inventory reconciliation, and generate inventory reports to support financial reporting.
  • Document and improve processes for accountability and training.
  • Align team capacity with seasonal business demands.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to maintain inventory controls and accurate reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally to meet business objectives and support colleagues.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years in inventory and purchasing roles, preferably in jewelry manufacturing.
  • Minimum 2 years managing a team, with experience in hiring, firing, and performance management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience in seasonal businesses is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with finance or accounting on inventory reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of building cross-functional relationships.

Annual base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, based on experience and qualifications. R2Net does not sponsor employment authorization at this time.
