We are seeking a dynamic, organized and detail oriented People Operations and Office Manager to join our team and be our HR representative in the US.
This role combines human resources functions with office management responsibilities to support our US operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to create a positive and productive workplace environment. This is a remote role with preference for candidates located in the New York/ New Jersey area.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including but not limited to: employees relations, employees onboarding, performance management, and offboarding for the US site.
- Lead full recruitment processes when required (including sourcing, CV screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and maintaining a high level of candidate experience).
- Develop and implement local HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives in line with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support employee engagement efforts in our US site, including organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, welfare initiatives and employee experience events.
- Handle US payroll processing, benefits administration, health insurance, and HRIS maintenance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, US benefits, local labor law and workplace concerns.
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate services, such as office supplies, maintenance, and IT support.
- Organize company events, meetings, and travel logistics for employees and visitors.
- Ensure office safety compliance, including emergency preparedness and health guidelines.
- Monitor and manage office budgets, including expense tracking and cost optimization.
- Act as a liaison between remote and on-site team members to maintain a cohesive work environment.
Requirements:

- 4-6 years of experience in HR, virtual and physical office management, or a combined operations role - preferably from a Hitech company.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with remote and hybrid work settings.
- Experience working with multi-state workforce
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws, US benefits and HR best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency with: HR systems, ATS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google workspace, payroll processor (CoAdvantage is preferred) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
