Job summary

Barrick Mining Corporation invites applications for a Manager, Maintenance Engineering at its Carlin processing operations. The role leads engineering, reliability, and planning teams to improve equipment reliability, asset integrity, and compliance across two roaster facilities, one autoclave, one concentrator, and three CIC heap leach plants.

Reporting to the Processing Manager, this position manages Life of Mine sustaining capital, budgets, and project prioritization while ensuring quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years in progressive operational/management roles; at least 5 years in process operations.
• Experience in mines of similar size and technical scope is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading a strong process safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety mindset through leadership and frontline engagement across the engineering team.
• Direct accountability for maintenance planning, reliability, small capital projects, and operational excellence.
• Govern maintenance systems governance for Carlin Processing.
• Provide operational excellence by aligning safety targets with maintenance plans.
• Serve as Carlin processing champion for risk management and process safety improvements.
• Coach and develop plant managers, and mechanical/electrical superintendents.
