Qualifications

• BS in Geological/Civil/Mining Engineering or related engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of tailings and heap leach operations and construction required.
• Professional Engineer designation preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in mining or related industry preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site team for TSF/HLF facilities (superintendent + 2 engineers).
• Fulfill the RTFE role for North Area facilities.
• Prepare and manage budgets and work plans for TSF/HLF management.
• Coordinate with site and corporate personnel for technical reviews.
• Communicate with site departments, leadership, and corporate teams.
• Review water and tailings deposition models and ensure model calibration.
• Review designs, construction packages, and site investigation plans.
