Ryder System, Inc. in Brownstown, MI is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead the distribution center and warehousing operations. You will partner with the customer, supervise staff, and drive LEAN improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, P&L oversight, safety leadership, and developing a high performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is a salaried, full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the customer to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve issues with LEAN initiatives to improve productivity and results.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance of employees; maintain positive relations.
