Job summary
Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development Engineer for the Lodging Connectivity - Partner Developer Experience team in Austin. The role leads several software teams, contributes production code, and drives AI-enabled, partner-facing connectivity solutions.
You will shape API schemas, data models, and integration patterns with lodging partners while maintaining high quality, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with people management.
- Ownership of multi-service or domain-level systems in production.
- Hands-on design, implementation, and delivery of systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software teams delivering resilient, scalable Lodging Connectivity services and APIs.
- Contribute production code and own delivery outcomes while guiding the org.
- Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities into connectivity systems.
- Define direction for API design, data modeling, and integration with lodging partners.
- Maintain high standards for observability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product, business, and operations to align roadmaps.
