Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a quantitative finance analytics team responsible for building and maintaining loan-level models, including credit loss and origination forecasting. You’ll own the models at the center of how Carvana plans and manages its lending business, collaborating with Accounting, Credit, Capital Markets, and servicing partners.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on modeling with strong communication to present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quantitative finance or related field.
• Experience building loan level forecast models.
• Experience in CECL or allowance reserve models.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; AI for automation.
• Excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve loan level forecast model and projections.
• Maintain re-forecast model and explain key variance drivers.
• Build loan origination forecast with cross-functional partners.
• Lead CECL reserve calculation process and governance.
• Develop unit economics and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Credit, Capital Markets.
