SVA in Madison, WI seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Real Estate team focused on LIHTC entities. You will oversee complex engagements, mentor staff, and advise affordable housing developers and related organizations on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.

Role emphasizes leadership, quality control, and relationship management while expanding LIHTC services and maintaining high standards of client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification required.
• Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, LIHTC, and real estate reporting.
• Experience serving affordable housing, real estate and LIHTC clients.
• Familiarity with HUD, RD and state housing authority reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex LIHTC audit and tax engagements from planning to client delivery.
• Monitor engagement progress against budget and schedule; communicate findings.
• Supervise staff work products and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain client relationships and seek opportunities to expand services.
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to firm policies; work 55 hours/week in peak season.
