The role focuses on LIHTC and affordable housing engagements, with emphasis on leadership, client service, and staff development. The Manager will oversee planning, fieldwork, review, and client communication, while ensuring efficient operations, budget adherence, and compliance with HUD and state housing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting required, including experience serving affordable housing, real estate, and/or LIHTC clients.
• CPA required.
• Specialized knowledge: partnership taxation, affordable housing accounting, LIHTC compliance, and real estate financial reporting; familiarity with HUD, RD, and state housing authority reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between principals, client, and accounting staff across moderate to complex engagements.
• Lead engagements from planning through review and client communication, ensuring scope and budget adherence.
• Supervise preparation of work products for client delivery and maintain confidentiality per laws and firm policies.
• Maintain ongoing client contact, including developers, ownership groups, management companies, syndicators, and nonprofits.
