Job summary

SVA in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Real Estate team and oversee complex LIHTC engagements. Based in Wisconsin, you will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive quality work across affordable housing audits and tax services.

You will supervise engagement teams, monitor budgets and schedules, and identify opportunities to expand LIHTC offerings while upholding the firm's standards and Great Place to Work credentials.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience: 9+ years' experience in public accounting, including affordable housing, real estate, and/or LIHTC clients.
• Professional Certification: CPA required.
• Specialized knowledge: Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, affordable housing accounting, LIHTC structures, and real estate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex affordable housing and LIHTC audit and tax engagements from start to finish, coordinating all phases of an engagement.
• Monitor budgeted time expenses and schedules; ensure proper sequence and timely delivery.
• Supervise preparation of all work products to be provided to the client; maintain client confidentiality.
• Lead and train staff; review performance and provide feedback to ensure quality deliverables.
