Qualifications

• Progressively responsible disability claims experience (5+ years) and leadership aptitude.
• Ability to attain/maintain TPA licenses.
• Strong training, mentoring and feedback skills for staff development.
• Excellent analytical and regulatory knowledge for federal/state requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of claims professionals delivering exceptional service.
• Ensure operations comply with federal and state requirements.
• Develop plans for efficiency and client relationship growth.
• Collaborate with partners on profitability of client blocks.
• Use metrics to track trends and adjust strategies.
• Participate in policy/procedure development and training.
• Support and drive claims management initiatives and audits.
• Engage in client prospecting and implementation activities.
